The Grass Bounder

The Grass Bounder

How happy this young hare is now that it is officially Spring, I took her name from the poem 'The Names of the Hare' which was a translation from the old English language by the poet Seamus Heaney. I thought that she really looks like a Grass Bounder jumping watched by a startled lapwing on her nest.
