Breatrice - Print

I had a great deal of fun drawing Beatrice and naming her with a slight alteration of the spelling after my favourite artist (Beatrix Potter) who drew the most beautiful squirrels. The red squirrel only lives in certain habitats nowadays in the British Isles. They are much smaller than the more common greys who were introduced from America. Both squirrel species can take birds eggs so they are not always popular among keen birders. Their tufty bits on their ears grow in the winter.
